When @jonnyplackett was teaching his daughter to read, he did not like the gamified phonics apps available on the AppStore, and decided to make his own.
It worked really well, so he showed it to phonics expert @readingroots.uk.
She thought it would be useful to other parents, teachers and anyone else learning English - and had some ideas how to make it even better. So they spent AGES making The Phonics App.
